Bariatric Surgeon Dr. Hector Perez
Dr. Hector Perez is a bariatric surgeon practicing in Cancun, Mexico. Dr. Perez is a medical doctor who has studied at the University of Miami, La Salle University, Mexican National University to name a few. He finished his degree graduating with Honors, obtaining the title of General Surgeon from Mexican National University. Since 2006, Dr. Hector Perez has been focusing on bariatric surgery and is completely experienced in Gastric Sleeve, Gastric Bypass, Revision Procedures, Gastric Plication and Gastric Banding. He was mentored by Dr. Fernando Ceron Rodriguez, a pioneer of bariatric surgery in the 80’s who is now a part of Dr. Perez’s team as a partner and first surgical assistant.
After discovering that obesity is a proven trigger for the major causes of death, Dr. Perez felt compelled to get involved and help patients get their health under control. Bariatric surgery isn’t just for the super obese or very sick. In fact, the best time to get bariatric surgery is before symptoms of diseases occur, or before you become so obese that the surgery becomes too risky.
All weight loss surgery is non-invasive and when done by an experienced team, the risks are minimal. Dr. Perez’s patients are thoroughly evaluated and numerous tests are conducted to ensure that the risks of the surgery are kept to a minimum before the surgery is scheduled. In over 3,000 surgeries, his team has close to a zero complication rate.

Scott and Diane Stender
Hi Dr. Perez;
Diane and I have returned to Alaska, cold, cold here. Just a quick update. Diane and I are both doing very well, stronger by the day. I have already lost 22 pounds and feel great and Diane has lost 15 pounds. We will send you some photos. The pants that I wore to Cancun were tight on me, now the fall straight to the floor. We are passing along to our clients the information on the surgery and all of our positive experiences. Than you so very much. We will stay in touch.
