Service Description
Breast lift or mastopexy is a surgical procedure in which excess of skin and tissue that accumulates in the mammary gland is removed, sometimes it may involve changing the position of the areola and nipple. Pregnancy, breastfeeding, losing weight or aging cause a flaccid skin and smaller breasts, which is solved with this surgery.
OBJECTIVE
Return volume and firmness to the breasts, avoid back and neck pain due to sagging chest, as well as improve the patient's appearance and self-esteem.
RESULTS THAT CAN BE ACHIEVED
Satisfactory results, the patient will feel better about her appearance and herself.
DURATION OF THE PROCEDURE
Approximately 2 to 3 hours..
SURGICAL AND POSTSURGICAL ASPECTS
- General anesthesia.
- Usually does not require hospitalization.
- You can resume work in no less than 7 days after the procedure. Activities of greater physical effort may be performed 4 to 6 weeks after surgery. The type of procedure is what determines the type of healing.
INCONVENIENCE
Inflammation, mild to moderate discomfort, bruising, tenderness on the skin, dryness and numbness.
