It repositions the mammary glands that descended from their original position by means of different techniques, each one designed for a particular type of patient either by means of periareolar (in the circumference of the areola), vertical or inverted âTâ approach; these techniques may or may not require the use of a breast implant to achieve greater volume in the upper pole.
Objectives: Correct the position of the breasts by lifting them to obtain an aesthetic and natural shape.

Length of surgery: 4 hours.
Type of surgery: Short stay.
Anesthesia type: General.
Hospitalization: 12 to 24 hours.
Postoperative care:
Compression garment for 4 weeks.
Removal of stitches in 10 days.
Return to normal activities in 3 weeks
Final results: Immediate improvement, but the final results are observed at 3 months.
Scars: In the circumference of the areola, probably a vertical and occasionally a horizontal one hidden in the inframammary crease.
