For patients who have little or no breast development, patients who lost breast volume after pregnancy with or without sinus descent. Also in reconstructive surgery after mastectomy.
It is recommended under general anesthesia.
It is performed through an incision around the lower portion of the areola, or in some cases in the inframammary fold, the pectoralis major muscle is reached, this muscle is lifted and the implants are placed between the ribs and the muscle (submuscular) High quality, textured, cohesive silicone gel implants are used, sutured by planes, post-operative bra placed and ambulatory handled. Antibiotics, analgesics are formulated, postoperative physiotherapy is recommended a week if possible, the duration of the procedure is 2 hours. A reduction in the size of the areola and breast lift if it was down (mammopexy) can be performed.
