The facelift or rhytidectomy is a surgical procedure in which the manipulation of the fatty tissue and muscle tissue of the face corrects the flaccid skin, neck fall and cheekbones.

SURGICAL AND POSTSURGICAL ASPECTS
- General anesthesia or local anesthesia with intravenous sedation.
- Usually does not require hospitalization.
- You can resume work activities 10 to 14 days after the procedure. Activities of greater physical effort to resume them at least 2 weeks. Avoid sun exposure for several months and use sunscreen against UVA and UVB rays.
Temporary swelling, numbness, tightness, itching, and dryness on the skin. In the case of men, they should permanently shave the back of the ears where the skin is repositioned with hair growth.
