Thigh lift consists of the removal of a variable segment of skin and fat. The thigh is pulled up and attached to the abdomen skin.
The legs may present deformities resulting from abnormal fat accumulation or flaccid skin. Often there is a combination of both. In the lower limb fat tends to accumulate in the lateral and inner thighs, buttocks and below the knees’ medial aspect. All these areas are likely to liposuction. In cases of intense flaccidity either on the inner surface or throughout the circumference of the thigh, a thigh lift is indicated.
